The R Street Corridor has recently invested in infrastructure improvements that support all modes of transportation- including walking, biking, and public transit. You won’t find many standard bike racks along this district; custom bike racks are featured throughout the Corridor and double as works of art. Light rail runs along most of the Corridor with four stations serving the area. The most heavily used station, at 16th and R Street, features new shelters, access ramps, passenger informational signs, artwork and upgraded lighting. If you are arriving by auto then have no fear, parking is bountiful on R Street with both on and off street options. No matter how you get there, be sure to take advantage of this walkable Corridor and discover what R Street is all about.
